Saint George and Saint Bishoy Coptic Orthodox Church was founded in 1995. A year later, the church acquired a building, which was later sold, leading to the construction of the current church building in 2005.

Throughout its history, several priests have served this parish. Notable among them are Hegumen Father Daniel Azer Sous, Hegumen Father Michael Gabriel, and Father Shenouda Ghattas. In February 2008, Father Youhanna was ordained, taking on the responsibilities of the parish.
